LICENSE SUSPENDED FOR ISLAND STONE PUB

CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI

The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission has suspended the lounge liquor license, license number LL90226, for the premises known as “Island Stone Pub” located in Kensington, for the following period of time, that is:

for a period of three (3) days commencing 11 a.m., Thursday, June 24, 2010 up to and including 12 noon, Sunday, June 27, 2010.

The Commission was satisfied that a violation of the Liquor Control Act Regulations took place under the following section:

Section 70 (d)

A licensee shall not permit any person to consume liquor while on duty or during his working hours.

This suspension does not affect the operation of the dining room at Island Stone Pub which may continue to observe its normal hours of operation during this period.
