Responsible Use Programs
The term "responsible use" refers to both the use and service of alcoholic beverages. In its continuing efforts to promote "responsible use" the Liquor Control Commission participates in national campaigns, offers assistance to the national M.A.D.D. and local S.A.D.D. organizations, promotes "Don't Drink and Drive" through ad campaigns and messages on liquor bags, etc.
As well, to encourage "responsible use" in its licensed premises, the Commission has a mandatory Responsible Beverage Service Program.
