Listing Requirements

The policy of the P.E.I. Liquor Control Commission is to optimize the efficiency of the Commission as it relates to a dollar return, and to provide customers with a well balanced assortment of beveraged alcohol treating all suppliers fairly and giving all applications equitable consideration.

Any supplier who wishes to submit an offer to the Commission for the sale of products, a request for an exchange of products listed, or to request an additional size for products listed must complete a formal application for listing. Application forms are available upon request and online.

No product will be considered at a listing meeting unless the standard application form or facsimile is used and all required information is supplied on the form.

The Listing Committee will not consider more than four (4) applications for listing from any one agent. Listing applications will be reviewed monthly and agents will be notified on the status of their applications.

There will be a non-refundable fee of One Hundred Fifty ($150.00) Dollars for every listing/exchange application. Applications solicited by the Listing Committee will not require the application fee. Note: a six month business plan, a product fact sheet and a back label with the bar code must accompany all new listing applications.

Two complete samples of each product for which a listing is sought must be forwarded via PREPAID FREIGHT to the CEO, PEI Liquor Control Commission, 3 Garfield St., Charlottetown, PE C1A 6A4. Note: companies will be charged for any expenses attached to these products.
